Serpae Tetra
(Characins/Tetras)

3

Quite peaceful and have left all other fish alone.  However all the other fish are larger.  Have chased each other but nothing damaging has occured.  Won't pick food off tank floor and lacks fighting ability for food when placed with larger fish.
Gold Gourami
(Anabantids)

2

Very active.  Larger female consistantly chases male.  But not to the point where male is always hiding.  Although he does at times.  does scavenge for food off the floor and will nibble on wafers.  Dominated the tank until a Festivum grew to their size and took control.

Gouramis have recently been attacking each other.  The female was chased into decor and I had to manually remove her.  Injured pretty badly and seperated forom the rest of the tank for about 15 days for recovery.  The divider was removed they continue to attack each other by mainly charging head on and meeting at the mouth while opening their mouths.  An aggressive kissing behavior they haven't done before.
Festivum
(American Cichlids)

1

Works in peaceful tank for a cichlid.  Color changes from grayosh/silver to dark green and black.  Depending on mood of the fish.  Changes fast enough for it to happen before a persons eyes.  Has become dominant fish in tank and has no problem chasing other fish around if their in his way.  However has not attacked tetras which are only 1.5'' but has killed and ate a gold algae eater at 1''.  If it fits in his mouth he will eat it.  Has taken whole shrimp pellets at a time.  Also taks wafers from the bottom and holds it in his mouth.  Other fish including bottom feeders can not get to it so place more than one.
Skunk Loach/Botia
(Loaches)

1

Imediatley took care of snail problem.  Several were gone by the morning.  Hids very well in the substrate and even in rough ropck substrate.  Plants were enjoyed by him as well.  Problem was he was semi agressive and believed to have killed Betta #1.  His fins were terribly damaged.  So he was brought back.
Zebra Danio
(Danios)

3

Very quick and basic fish.  Nothing color wise that is exciting.  However they are very active.  Although one is aggressive and keeps the others in hiding.  A large water change (50%) killed one within 10minutes but the others looked entirely unphased.

The one replaced was replaced with a danio the same size as the aggressor but he/she has become the aggressor in the tank now forcing the past aggressor to hide with a smaller danio.

Able to recover from a pretty large water change (33%). But they were very stressed.
Bristlenose Pleco
(Plecos)

1

Has been more active with addition of chinese algae eater but still hides in cave most of the day.  Has only showen aggression once towards a corydora and chase him across the entire tank.  Nice looking fish but in the dark hard to see.  Cleans only the immediate area around hiding spot and tanks shrimp pellets, normal and algae wafer that are close by.
Bronze Corydora
(Catfish/Corydoras)

2

Lost one within a month or two but due to my fault.  Swims very quick and got caught in a net i was tanking out of the tank without me noticing.  The cory left is still as active when both were in there.  they did spend much of their time near each other.  However, Cory is always searching for food on the bottom and has been to the surface to eat alone the sides of the tank.  Grown fully into good sized Cory and is very active.  Will rest occasionally on the floow of the tank but when swimming it is none stop.
Chinese Algae Eater
(Suckermouth Cats)

1

Began in a small tank and grew quickly by an 1' in a month or so.  Moved to a larger tank and was timid at fish but has come into his own after the Festivum and Gouramis realized they could not eat him due to his size.  Needs a place to hide occasionally.  Kept staying cave with Pleco but eventually found the Kuhli Loach spot.  Bought a new piece for the fish and he has not been in hiding for long periods of time in both of those spots since it was added.  Cleaned the small tank fantastically.  The larger tank is a large job and has yet to be seen if he can handle it.
Dalmation Mollie/Lyretail mix
(Mollies)

3

The Dalmation Mollies are in their own world.  Except for a couple times when the gouramis chased them from sinking foods they have been left alone by every fish.  Played along side of the tank and lost one possibly from stress.  Over a couple days it had problems swimming and it was found on the bottom of the tank moving around with damaged fins.  it could not swim up.  Only along the gravel on the bottom.  The two left still stick together but they chased eachother when there was 3.  They do eat algae but it seems it does when they get hungry and the fish are not fed.  Otherwise they chose the flakes and wafers, etc.
Comet Goldfish
(Goldfish)

3

Lived for a short while.  First they were in still water bowl but someone suggested I put a filter in the water. The filter was to strong and they all got tired and stressed and died pretty quick.  They seemed somewhat scared and constabtly hid.  They would come out to eat only half the time.
Telecope Goldfish
(Goldfish)

2

Hardy and left alone but were in a very very peaceful tank. Larger than other fish.  Lived but eventually grew old went sideways and passed.  The second lasted only a couple weeks after the first went.
Gold Algae Eater
(Suckermouth Cats)

2

Was told there is only a color difference between the Chinses Algae Eater and the Gold.  Size is another difference.  Added and everyone thought he was lunch.  Probably my fault but he would have never gotten big enough for the tank even if he hid his whole life.  Added one to a smaller tank with Danios.  Hasn't grown much again.  Chases a danio every once in a whiule and not eating the algae on the sides of the tank but active and healthy.
Silver Dollars
(Characins/Tetras)

2

Get large and very peaceful.  Moved nicely and easy to care for.
Assorted Platies
(Platies)

4

The platies had greta collor and one may have been ready to reproduce.  male constantly followed all the other females.  One jumped out of the tank because of being chase and died.  The other three died of ich due to the changes of water temperature.  They held out a while but over 2.5 weeks they all died.  Active fish and fun to watch.
Kuhli Loach
(Loaches)

1

Hides all the time.  Fun for the few minutes he is out.  Would add a couple more and changed the type of hiding place for them if it wasd to be done differently.   Comes out only a couple times a week to eat from what can be observed.  Eats the left overs in and around hiding spot.
Male Betta
(Bettas)

3

Lost one that was proably attacked by the Skunk Loach.  Very nice fish in the small tank with the danios.  Lost the second within the 2nd day.  Never acclamated itself to the tank.  Color is obviously great and would get again but ave had trouble keeping them with other fish.  Bought and added to a 3rd tank with a Cory.  Both are active and no problems with aggression.  Doing well in the tank and would experiment in larger tank in future.
Speckled Cory

1

Forget the exact name but speckled with black like pepper.  In a small tank with a Betta and is very healthy and active.  prob not too happy with lack of interaction with other fish but hey, it happens.
